PEAKS OF THE BALKANS

The 'Peaks of the Balkans' trail spans a remote and wild mountainous area in the Western Balkans, reaching up to 2300 meters above sea level. The 192-kilometer marked trail traverses the untouched landscapes of Albania, Kosovo, and Montenegro, showcasing diverse scenery from green valleys to mountain lakes, waterfalls, rivers, and picturesque villages where time appears to stand still. I hiked only over Montenegro and Albania, completing a scenic circle spanning 125 kilometers due to weather changes on the fifth day!
